Swarovksi; TBY3 pt. 1

To be honest, before Wednesday I thought of Swarovski as the producer of those glass dolphins some grannies collect. I didn't really read their press mails and never took them serious as a high-end player in the fashion field. And I think I am not alone on this.

Things changed when I put on one of their necklaces from the Spring-Summer Tropical Paradise collection. It was love at first sight.

The pieces I liked most are the heavy ones. Heavy, in a way that they are not for every I-just-put-something-together outfit. It takes some courage and a good scoop of style to put on one of these. But when you do, prepare for a cascade of compliments!

This collection is strongly influenced by impressions from Brazil and Mexico. Intense joy and energy burst from the colliers and bracelets. The abundance of sparkling colours reflects the wealth of the forests and of the local culture and traditions.

So maybe it is time to let your prejudices about this brand go. Take a look at this collection on www.swarovski.com and perhaps, if you give enough 'subtle' hints to your beau, you might end up unpacking some Swarovski sparkle on Valentines day! :)
